fruit stand, has been passed down through five
generations since the 1870s. Guests are invited to
pick their own apples in season, or shop in the
home-grown fruit market. Fried apple pies, jellies,

in the forests of Cumberland Plateau in Sinking
Valley. Sinking Valley Winery has wine tasting for
their on-site made wines. The winery and vineyard
boasts the use of barrels crafted at East Bernstadt
Cooperage by Ronnie Robinson. The barrels are
constructed of white oak from the region to enhance
flavor. Sinking Valley Winery offers concord wines
in sweet, semi-sweet and dry varieties.
