New Lake Cumberland visitors guide now available

The 2017-18 Lake Cumberland official visitors guide is now available and will soon begin appearing in racks at rest areas along the Interstate 75 corridor.

Featuring the theme Lake Cumberland 365: Always in Season, the photograph-centric brochure focuses on the many events and attractions Somerset-Pulaski County has to offer year-round. The guide offers a complete listing of dining options, houseboat rentals, accommodations and campgrounds, while also featuring a fold-out map and a quick-reference stoplight guide for U.S. 27.

"Our visitors guide and website are our most valuable resources for sharing everything that Pulaski County has to offer to visitors," said Carolyn Mounce, executive director of Somerset-Pulaski County Convention & Visitors Bureau. "We hope people enjoy seeing the great number of photographs featured in this new publication, and that they are encouraged to explore more of our community."

The guide also introduced a new social media campaign, #LC365. By asking visitors and residents to share their Lake Cumberland photos on social media with this hashtag year-round, Mounce said she hopes to spread the word about the area's beauty, attractions and events.

Click here to download the brochure, or request a mailed copy. The brochures are also available at the Somerset-Pulaski County Visitors' Center, located at 522 Ogden Street in Somerset.
