The hub includes posts with hashtags related to Lake Cumberland or other tourism destinations around the area, as well as posts from specific geographic locations on the lake. Posts are reviewed and approved by website administrators, who take special care to choose quality content.

In honor of Lakes Appreciation Month in July, 10Best.com set out to find the best recreational lakes in the nation. A panel of travel experts hand-picked its top 20 nominees, and public voting lasted four weeks. Lake Cumberland joined some of the largest and most well-known lakes across the country in this contest — including Lake Placid, Lake Tahoe and Lake Michigan.
